Love in October has been selected to play MTV's Summer Concerts at Six Flags Chicago on August 17th with Plain White T's and Secondhand Serenade! Thanks to all of you who voted for us. We hope you will join us for some amusement and some rock. See you there!

We are happy to announce the newest addition to the Love in October family. Brian Boesen will be joining us on drums. Be sure to meet and greet him at the next show!

Hold the phone! Love in October is melting in Minneapolis. If you own a surplus of ice cubes, or have a large freezer, please contact us. Besides the literal melt-down, we have a few things to announce.

We're going to try something new here. Since preparing to record can be a little boring at times we need your help to amuse us. So we've decided to launch a competition were you have the opportunity to win a free CD! All you have to do is leave us a comment on our myspace page with your best pick-up line. The funnier / crazier the better! On May 31st we'll pick a winner and send them a free CD (or something else if you already have the CD). We have some not so happy news to report. Love in October is withdrawing from the We Are Listening New Music Video Awards. Over the past two weeks we have been arguing with We Are Listening officials after they revoked almost 900 of our votes. We want to thank everyone who voted for us and put in their time and effort to support us. We think it was poor taste of them to remove the votes because we were kicking everybody's ass. We even received hate mail from the other bands because they couldn't keep up with us. We don't want to associate ourselves with unethical bodies so we have asked that our video will be removed from their website promptly. Thanks for your hard work LiO supporters.

It's the time of year when life re-enters the dormant bodies of the world, a time for rebirth, growth, and creation to spread across the land. That's exactly what Love in October is up to. The boys are currently writing new songs and preparing to head back to the studio this summer to record their debut full-length album. No release date or album title has been announced at this time.

Because a masterpiece can't simply be created over night, Love in October will not be playing very many shows in May and June. However, they will be headlining the International Pop Overthrow next week in Minneapolis. This will be your last chance to catch some LiO action for a while, so don't let the opportunity pass.

Love in October has broken into the EATV charts, and they want to climb up the food chain. Please vote HERE!
